Designed and maintained the build and packaging process for Switched-On Schoolhouse® products. The build currently uses Jenkins and MSBuild for building, WiX for packaging. Used The Grinder for web service testing.
Developed WCF web service enabled Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) bootstrapper for downloading and installing newer product installations in lieu of older packages already shipped on the installation media.
Migrated 2007 product installations from InstallShield 9 to Wix 3.0 after product port from .NET 1.1 to 2.0 for 2008 release.
Greatly reduced tech-support calls by completely redesigning Switched-On Schoolhouse® (SOS) product installations to address high call volume tech support problems encountered for 2003 versions. Created a C++ WTL bootstrapper for chaining the Microsoft and 3rd party dependent product installations before launching the redesigned SOS product installations.

The generated make files conform to a standard rules makefile and are used to build VB .NET, C#, C++ .NET, and C++ 6.0 projects independently of their corresponding project and solution (or workspace) files.
Completed design of standard rules makefile for enforcing Honeywell Configuration Management best practices in standardizing builds. All makefiles are run using ClearCase OMAKE in NMAKE compatibility or Microsoft NMAKE.
